Amphior - Disappearing

In his latest musical endeavor, "Disappearing", Danish electronic musician Mathias Hammerstrøm, under the alias Amphior, embarks on an introspective journey where the tangible dissolves into the ethereal.Following his 2022 release, "Another Presence", Mathias delves into mesmeric spaces characterized by melodious pianoworks warmly infused with the nostalgic tones of tape machines, guitar pedals, and retro amplifiers.

As the luminous glow of analog synths intermittently bathes the listener in a comforting warmth, the enchanting piano melodies journey deep into the depths of the subconscious mind, evoking hazy memories of days long gone. Across 11 tracks, the music fleetingly weaves through moments of hope and despair, blurring the line between reality and illusion - all of which is encapsulated in the album title, "Disappearing".
