Kristoffer Oustad - Magnor

Ten years after his first solo album, Kristoffer Oustad returns with “Magnor”, a deep exploration of dark electronic music. Rooted in classic industrial and dark ambient traditions, yet with a very personal and forward thinking approach. Composed and matured over several years, “Magnor” was crafted using analog and modular synthesizers, minimal post-production, and a strong focus on structure, dynamics, and atmosphere. The music is performed rather than programmed, lending it a sense of presence and authenticity to it, forming a crucial part of the album's character. The track "Detachment" features vocal work by Jonathan Grieve of Contrastate.
