Maris Anguis is the dark ambient project of Japanese-born, Chicago-based artist Ryo Utasato. Since 2023, the project has released six full-length albums exploring themes of spiritual transformation, cosmic consciousness, and humanity's relationship to suffering and transcendence through immersive drone and ambient compositions.
