The Suspended Apparition - It's Sealed Inside The Church

The Suspended Apparition is the dark ambient project of M.W. Daniels, created from a lifelong fascination with the paranormal, supernatural phenomena and the unsettling possibilities of sound.

It’s Sealed Inside The Church is an intensely atmospheric journey into haunted spaces, combining ice-cold drones, disembodied voices, choir, strings and strange electronic textures to create an oppressive and deeply cinematic sound world.

Drawing inspiration from the experimental composition of Krzysztof Penderecki, György Ligeti and Edgard Varèse, alongside the darker explorations of Current 93 and Nurse With Wound, Daniels constructs a series of eerie electroacoustic environments in which sounds seem to emerge from empty rooms, abandoned buildings and unseen presences.

Throughout the album, voices drift through dense drones, choirs appear and dissolve, and unfamiliar sounds move through the darkness. Track titles such as The Entity Inside The Sealed Church, The Choir That Was Once Present, Deformed Spirit Face At The Window and It’s Here Looking At You Now reinforce the sense of witnessing fragments of an unexplained haunting.

The CD edition also includes “Borley 1862”, an homage to the legendary Borley Rectory and its long association with paranormal activity. A chilling work of supernatural dark ambient — cold, spectral and profoundly unsettling.
